I posted a picture in my diary of the main vine on my 673 Glisczinski. The vine is putting out triple sets of leaves. I'm looking for some suggestions as to what to do about it. If I leave it, will a good pumpkin grow on that main, or would I be better off severing the main and letting a side vine take over as the main?

it is a flat vine. several of us, me included, have had questions on mutant main vines this season. In your case since it is a flat vine you should train a 2ndary to take over for the main. you can either cut the main or turn it 90° and have it be a 2ndary. good luck gordon
