These bugs are everywhere at my grandma's house. You can hear them crawling on the iris and the peonies. Anyone know what they are? I can't find them on the internet.

Those are Apple Chafer Beatles, they eat and eat and eat. They some how can sense when a plant is stressed. Once a couple of beatles start chewing on it, next thing you know there are a couple dozen.

Good photo. Looks like a Northern Masked Chafer to me. I looked for an online photo & the best I could come up with was the very good drawings of this insect pest from OSU. Check it out.

At any rate what you have there is a fine example of a Scarab type Beetle (the actual species isn't too important)which the OSU Fact Sheet should address. Yes, they do eat Peonies. The Sevin you've been using on the Pumpkins will work well if the situation is severe enough to justify it.
