Sevin (or something in powder form) that hasn't been completely rinsed off by rain or watering yet. It follows the veins of the leaves so I'm guessing it ran there. Powdery mildew would cross over the veins.

I've seen that condition on Prizewinners. Jeff, does the leaf look as though the cuticle (outer leaf layer) has seperated form the inner layer? Almost like the leaf is "delaminating"?

That is really different. I haven't ever seen anything like it and I have grown a lot of different squash.

I've seen it before on my Jack-O-Lanterns and Conneticut field pumpkins. Didn't seem to hurt anything.

Ive seen it on zucchini before...seemed to be just the natural coloring of that variety I grew that year......G
