i've been using thiodan as my contact/residual spray. the problem is this, i've been mixing according to directions and i'm spraying early in the morning to avoid the direct sun so as not to burn my leaves, but it still seems to burn the new growth. should i dilute the mixture to prevent this problem?

Don't know just how unGodly hot it's been down there lately, but being in the 90's the past few days here, my new growth is also burning because of the heat. Avoid doing a LOT of watering in the heat of the day, and spray overhead or mist for only 5-10 minutes in afternoon to "releive" your plants. I recommend the heavier watering be done in the morning.
