Warning to other NY area growers: It's my sad duty to confirm that this year there is a second generation of SVB's!

Noticed a second generation moth on Saturday and eggs too. I may be in trouble this time due to the size of the patch. not sure if i'll be able to get to every inch of the patch with the spray.With all of the rain i'm getting, i can't spray for them either. Trouble in paradise.....

I have found no eggs,,but vines seem to be dying from something,,,maybe just powerdy mildew,,,not sure...

Just type in "SVB" in the search box on this site. Page 94 of How to Grow Giant Pumpkins (2) has a full page picture of the moth also.

Thanks kilr,,,they are not black,,and was a cluster,,probably 15 eggs in it,,kinda off white looking.....
