I found a pretty good spot on my biggest pumpkin..It is on the bottom side just before my stryofoam..Kinda of a dull green....Any suggestions welcome,,and I'd like to know what it is...Thanks,,,Jeff

You have what might become a squmpkin. Its a pumpkin colored squash with some green on it....if the green continues to "grow" and becomes 30% or so of the "pumpkin's" color, then it might be considered a squash.If I were you and I wanted a pumpkin I wouldn't worry too much, but I would clear the weeds and leaves up a bit to get more natural light into the underside areas of the pumpkin....stem, and blossom end.......G

It's getting plenty of sun on the stem and blossom end..It's just under one side..Let me ask another question...The blossom end still sticks out,,the nipple I'll call it(stigma?),,this goes in as it grows,,right??So is pumpkin still growing if it's still out bout 3-4 inches??
