I'm looking for those interested in possibly splitting the costs on some of the new strobilurin fungicides "Tremor" has been talking about. For example, Quadris at $300 a gallon is expensive but perhaps more manageable if split 4 ways. E-mail me if interested.

Strobi's are the newest & most advanced class of fungicide yet. Derived originally from a mushroom that "learned" to kill other fungi to insure it's own proliferation.
"Compass" & "Flint" are both Trifloxystrobin 50%.
Compass is sold in 2 oz jars. Less than $50.00. At the rate of 1-4 oz per 100 gallons, the 2 oz jar makes from 50-200 gallons of finished spray. This volume then treats from 1-4 acres of area It is thus very economical to use. The smallest size Flint is 16 oz I believe.
There is no smaller sized Strobilurin fungicide package available yet. It is unlikely we will see consumer packaging this year.
The active ingredient (50% Trifloxystrobin) in Compass & Flint is considered a "reduced risk pesticide" by the EPA.

Trifloxystrobin is sometimes refered to as "mesostemic" meaning that it gasses off of the treatment area & recollects on nearby expanding (untreated) foliage over some time following treatment. Therefore it is more forgiving of poor coverage sprays than other classes of fungicides. Mesostemic is a name made up by the former Novartis AG who developed this material. NovartisAG was big into paying big bucks to marketing companies to create new words. LOL. This in no way detracts from the material. Spreader stickers/surfactanmts should not be used with this material.
I know the question of legality presides over members of this scupulous group. I understand.
I report. You decide. It's your patch.
