is there anything i can run through my sprayer to get the round up out? i need to spray my sweet corn with 24d.thanks, cloud

2-4-D around any pumpkins = Dead Pumpkins Several growers have lost the patch do to a neighbor down the street spraying

I would just spend the 40$ on a new sprayer.. I know it sounds crazy but I wouldnt take NO chances with my pumpkins. I would let the corn die first..

Walmart $2.00 a dozen of corn... If I had enough room for corn I would plant another few pumpkins..HEHE..

My sprayer cost a little more than $40.00. i checked on a new 3 pt hitch one at tsc.. about $999.00....

I was thinking of a little pump up one like I have...Geeez.. I would be looking for something to clean it with too ..Good luck if I find something I will let you know..sorry..

I just called monsanto and the lady told me to just triple wash with clean water and that would do it..

A 10% solution of house hold ammonia OR bleach will work better than straight water.

Don't every mix ammonia and bleach
usually round-up rinses out of sprayers pretty easy and triple rinsing works pretty good, just make sure rinse out the hoses and nozzles too.
blkcloud, TSC sells a spray tank cleaner called Nurta-sol that works pretty good otherwise 1 qt of ammonia to 25 gallons of water and let set for a couple of hours then triple rinse.
Its the 2-4D thats hard to get out of the sprayers
