Hot peppers work great to keep many pest off. one of the only things to stop Squash Bugs. make your own spray by just useing any hot sause you got mixed with water. add a little soap and a little bit of flour and that spray should stop any pest you got.

Yes,it seems to work, I mix my own using "Ground Arbol Chile"(very HOT) I boil it in water, then strain. Then put it in a spray bottle. I would be concerned using hot sauce as it may contain salt. I mostly spray the ends and tender leaves, specially the main vine too! Need to re-spray after watering. It doesn't hurt plant,it seems to like it!!!

Would "Texas Pete" be strong enough or should I get something that is spicier? How about a really hot salsa.
