In light of recent events here at BP.com, I was wondering what forum engine is being used. I would like to make a suggestion. Since the site has so many dedicated members, would it be possible to switch the forum to the VBulletin engine? Then, at Ken and John's descretion, a few select, trusted members could be given admin rights, and help keep this site the great place it has always been. Even if a cost would be required to make the switch, I have no doubt that most members would contribute generously to see the site continue. Perhaps a donation button would help, or dare I say, some small advertising. I know the site was meant to be free, and free of advertising, but times are changing, and unfortunately not for the better. I honestly believe, for the good of the site, most regular members would much prefer making donations, or see an ad or two, than watch the site go down, or good members leave because of a few bad apples.

Sorry, instead of admin rights, I should have said moderator rights...

i think ken and john write their own script, and i have a feeling they want to keep it that way. there will be a new version of bp.com sooner or later (haven't talked to them in almost a year, so my info might be old), which may address some of those changes.

On the CT GS&PGA summer patch tour this year Ken explained the "New" BigPumpkins is still being developed. Now that he & John don't work together in the same building I think progress has slowed but continues.
They also have been working on that DVD we were all clamoring for so I suppose they can only do so much in a day what with family responsibilities & all.
