On the chat sights it said that soon only those who have Internet Explorer5+ will only be able to chat. When will this happen? Or has it already?

At some point in the future, we may need to take advantage of features that are only available with the IE 5 browser. Namely its native XML support and ability to communicate with out server without having to reload the page every time.

As out chat system grows more complex it may be necessary to provide a "view only" page for people without the newer browser.

Our recent web log report shows that about 85% of our users are already on IE5 or higher. Although we don't want to exclude anyone, it is getting harder to maintain both sets of code.

When will all this happen? Certainly not durring the season, I don't have much time to modify the code. Too many weeds to pull out in the patch.

Hey John,,,I have 6.0 IE and still have problems sometimes...Freezing up is my biggest....Usually it comes back after a few...

Same here with the freeze up or error detected. Dont no what the heck IE is still real new at this comp. stuff Have aol 7.0
