Did you check your browser settings to verify that you have cookies enabled? Check the Privacy tab in the Tools/Internet Option menu item. I use the Medium setting.

Hi Ken,

Yep..My browser is set to accept cookies on the privacy tab the setting is set to medium. I've checked for a bigpumpkin cookie in the internet files and none is there.

For some reason it's not writing the cookie. I'll try it with the settings on low and see what happens..

Hi again,

I put the settings on low.. It does write the cookie but it has no effect. Also.. I set my browser to accept any cookies from http://www.bigpumpkins.com and it still don't work..

Have you checked the expiration date set for cookies on the asp page? That's probably not what it is or I would think it would effect everybody..

Next I'll try it with netscape and see what happens..

It works with netscape. It's killing me because..I cant figure out why it dont in IE6... I've tried everything..LOL..

Anyway..You may want to get some other ie6 users to check this out just to be safe. It could prevent a ie6 new user from creating a account if it's server side related..

We actually have lots of IE 6.0 users (including John and I) and this is the first we have heard of a problem. I will do some tests on this.

Do you come to the site via http://bigpumpkins.com or http://www.bigpumpkins.com? You should use the "www" version.
