Did anyone catch the report on the Buffalo weigh off?
I just saw the end and they were reporting a 1280#r that split as it was being lifted to the scale.Just curious.

Tim Bailey took a 1245 lb-er to Clarence NY.
it split 5 weeks ago. He patched it with caulk. It held and keep growing so he took it to the weighoff as an exhibition
only.

yeah, that's the one. the tv and radio stations can be awful at getting the story straight when it comes to correct pumpkin information around here. i guess it's probably due to who they get their info from.

well my local news channel mentioned the weigh off in new york but oregon still had the world record(but it really doesnt because it was grown in wa is what i was thinking), and they said bill bobier won with a 1037 pound pumpkin

I'm going to Port Elgin.I hope my biggest is around 400#,don't want to be to embarassed!This is my first attempt at growing anything so I'm pretty happy.Really not looking forward to making that cut on Friday tho.
