I was looking at the site and I read the general message boardfine but the three other boards that said they had new stuff lacked the yellow new markers beside each item . Is the problem on your end or mine ? If it's mine I'll have my 9yr old look at it.

Seems to work fine for me in all message boards. Go back to the main page and change the Indicate Items As New field to go back further and test it out.
