Why does'nt pumpkin tracker work?

all i can figure is there must be a loose connection,the batteries are dead,or maybe you dont have it pointed in the right direction..some times them pumpkins will "get outta range" and its hard for the tracker to pick them up..you might try placing a small ad on the radio or in the classifides if you still cant find your pumpkin..good luck!!!
