Ken, It has been recommended that you may have advice for me. I would like to offer up some favorable seeds I've collected as a fund raiser for our young and unfunded weigh off here in Montana. I intend to collect more seed and would like to share with the AG community in an internet auction of sorts. Is this something you've done here on this site before? Or is there another more appropriate way to offer seed in the hopes of raising cash to keep us going...? I'm open to anyone's input, advice, and worthy seeds too. I understand this would only be with Howard Dill's blessing. Thank you for any fund raising advice. Kim

We have let several pumpkin growing organizations hold seed auctions in our chat room (including the Dill's). Some of them just used our hardware/software and ran the auction themselves. Others had us run the auction for them (we played the role of auctioneer). Some organizations gave us a donation for our hospitality and others did not. As you mentioned, we will only do this when the Dill's have approved of it. Dates are already being reserved for auctions this winter!

Great Ken, thanks for the response. What would I need to do next to ensure that our weigh off is involved? Any time frames? Kim
