Hi Ken
I cant get links on here, most sites when I click on the link, it takes me straight there, often in a new window, but not on here,,
is there anything i can do to get them?

Which browser are you using?

In Chrome, I added the "Clickable Links" extension. Makes chat easier, as you don't have to copy and paste them out too. I'm sure Firefox has a similar extension.

Are you referring to the Links page or when someone posts a URL into the message board?

Copy/paste of the link should work but I know that is not friendly. However, I have not allowed "active" links in posts due to spammers. I think I might make a change allowing premium members to post active links.

baitman

I highlight the link, right click and then choose the option to open link in new window

That would be cool Ken!

I do what baitman does but this can be hard during chat for someone like me. Very slow hand eye coordination here.....

You can configure most browsers to click on links that are displayed as text instead of a hyperlink. Here is a good tutorial for all of the most popular browsers and download links for them.
https://www.raymond.cc/blog/firefox-and-ie-auto-convert-url-text-links-into-genuine-clickable-links/

IE

Firefox https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/190/addon-190-latest.xpi?src=dp-btn-primary

Chrome
