I've submitted some pics of my pumpkins on Friday evening and a couple more pics of my cactus flower yesterday evening.

Now, it's Sunday 12 o'clock and they are still not up!

Do I have a problem with my internet connection and my entries have not gone through?

Has anyone else had the same experience?
If so, maybe Ken & John have just not had the time to pass the entries...

This has happened to me a couple of times, but if I wait a few days, the pics always show up. I chalk it up to John and Ken's obligations to family and occupation having higher priority, and I go on my merry way. The only time I got stressed aobut it is when I posted some diary entries minutes before the VWO deadline, and didn't see them for a couple days. But that's why Brent waits a couple days to check the entries. Besides, he's got other obligations, too.

The only problem I have with it is, when I come to the site to see "Whats New" I see diary entries, but the pictures in them do not show up. Then, when I come back to
the site, they are no longer listed in the "Whats New" section. Then, it takes forever to go back through all the
new posts to see them.

A nice feature would be for both the images AND the posts
to be put on hold until they can be screened, then
approved.

On a final note, thanks Ken & John for all the hard work.

From the homepage you can always go back & change the setting for "What's New" *since your last visit* (the default setting) to a specific date.

Change it to the current date & see everything that was posted that days as NEW.

I'm not sure, but I'll wager the "midnight" default for this website is probably EDT. If you factor that into your current time, you should be able to "see" new stuff even after it's not new anymore.

I hear ya!

We don't ever talk about it. Neither do Ken & John. But can you imagine how many bizarre pictures they've had to delete from weirdos???

You know the sort. LOL Just thinking about the deviant behavior of some people has me laughing.

I give the members here as well as John & Ken a lot of credit. This website has stayed clean without any stricken or moderated posts for a good long time.

If this website continues to grow in popularity, it's only a matter of time before they have to seek out trustworthy moderators to share the screening tasks. Check the shear number of entries in the diary section....Every one of those pictures was reviewed manually before being released. YIKES!

6,881 images just in the Diary section. Though not as many, Lord only knows how many more end up in the Gallery section.
