Every once in a while I decide to venture out and join an email group. Every time I am disappointed by the trash and filth and vile things that people do and say from the privacy of their home PC. I just did this again; I joined a prominent gardening related Yahoo group and could not believe the rabid venom that went unmoderated. I lasted about 3 days on that group, and quit it... it was just too devisive and outright offensive. I even began to wonder if joining the group endangered my family in any way. It was that bad.

If you haven't been out there in the cyber-world, don't bother... you have a great thing going making this your home! Ken and John do a fabulous job moderating this website, and keeping it a place where people can learn, discuss, agree, disagree, argue, laugh, share, and act like a community. Ken and Johns standards seem to be perpetuated by the people who visit here, too. Even the people I disagree with the most on this site are people I could comfortably invite over for a bar-b-cue and enjoy the sunset while watching the kids play in the backyard (yep, even Pappy and Mcpumpkin! LOL!) !-D

I guess I'm just trying to say that I've been counting my blessings the past few days, and bp.com is on the "A" list. Thank you Ken and John for doing what you do! You guys are heroes in my book. :)

Mr Sprout you are so right this is a great site. the people here for the most part are good people.Thanks to Ken and John i have found all the info one needs to have a great time in the pumpkin patch.what started off as a hobbie to grow a pumpkin so my grandson(aka Mr.D) could stand in has become much more .pumpkin fever im so hooked.. thanks for a great site Ken & John..
