Hello to all, I am extremely new to the giant pumpkin fad (the upcoming season will be my first) and I have received some seeds as a gift, they were purchased from a web site and the only labelling on the package says that they are from the Atlantic Giant (an extra special selection, LOl.) Could anyone tell me where they might be from?? Thanx, good luck to everyone in the upcoming season!!

Vickstar, to me these just appear to be seeds from someone pushing seeds online. If you want to grow World Class Giant Pumpkins like you see on Big Pumpkins.com I will gladly send you seeds, all you need to do is send me your address. But if I were you I would look on this site under grower diaries and find other growers in the Vancouver area and contact them. They will be glad to help you by getting you great seeds and instructions on growing them. Bill Foss billf@bwig.net

There a lot of great growers in your area. Try contacting Glenn Dixon (North Shore Boyz)I'm sure he'd be glad to help out. Very nice person and he also puts on a great 'weigh-off' each year in your area.

I cannot stress this enough you live and learn and bp.com is the best for a newbie grower to make lots of friends and to get some great seeds. As for the seeds you may have I myself bought seeds from an internet sight and grew a 60pdr so my advice to you is if you want to truly grow big there are great seeds right on this site and this upcomming season when i grow alot bigger then 60pds i will know its not from my lack of trying last yr but the mistake of seed choice to grow big you can go no wrong then the great peaple here but its your choice. May you grow a big one your first season all the best of luck tracy
