Strange, roots on top of the soil, almost like I planted the seed upside down, but didnt.......Both green squash too. Happen often? Anything to worry about? I really want the 848 and 1053 to do well.

Hi Wiz,
I have had a lot of roots visible when I get a good rain and plant is growing good. Another thing, could you not be watering deep enough?

Gary,

Are you sure they're AG roots & not weeds? Maybe this the spot you buried Long Beard. Dig a deeper hole next time.

LOL, You all ......

Nope planted them like all the rest, heat source at the bottom via a mat, rest of the 6 started did OK. The 848 had roots around the seed coming out of the ground about 3/8 of an inch like an umbrella..., covered it with a bit more soil over the weekend and all looks normal now. But the 1053 Werner ( 848 X 898), came up with only one cottle leaf, left the other one underground and it was green. At first I thought it was caught on the seed hull which was under the dirt. I gently pulled it up and it came out with a couple roots extending from the buried cottle leaf. So I planted it in another pot. We will see if this grows, appears as it is. The other plant is forming its first real leaf, so it looks like I got me a clone going......sweet. Guess this Myco with bio-stimulant works quite well.... :) Ill take pics......
