I normally use Miracle Grow "Gardening Soil", my wife accidentally got "Potting Soil". Is this going to make a big difference? Is it worth the 45 miles one way to exchange it? I got my seedlings in a 1 gallon pot with seed starting mix now, so this will just fill in below and around it when I transplant it.

I would say you are ok to use it, based on the seedlings are already established.

Does the label indicate any added fertilizer?

I see we have the same problem, or atleast issue pastor. I did a search on potting soil in here and many growers say they use potting soil, Larry Checkon mentions it, so does Jack LaRue. I think while some mixes are optimal, using a potting soil (like the Miracle Gro one) shouldnt hurt you.

Don't forget to that your pumpkin will only be in the starting mix a minimal amount of time... Typical time line is something like....
Day 0 seed is started.
Day 2-5 seed is up.(this varies)
Day 7-10 usually showing first true leaf.
Day 7-14 in the ground
My point is depending on how you germinate and how fast it takes place you will probably only be in the starting mix 7-10 days. Dont fool around getting that dude in the ground.
