I am a first timer of growing pumpkins. I have about an acre of land devoted just to pumpkins, with approximately 30 different types(Giants included). Most of the seeds were planted the last week of May thru the first of June, Due to the weather and other events. My plants are just begining to develope their flowers. What is the total time from once a Giant seed is planted to full mature pumpkin is developed? Thanks

Give it a try. Be sure and get Don Langevin Books and read the How to articles. Good luck. Suzy in Sloughhouse.

I planted some Jack-o-lantern pumpkins last year on the 11th of July and they made a few, so I think you are alright.

Most of the seed packets will likely indicate 100-120 days from seed to fruit...looks like you'll have some if you dont get a very early frost........G
