this is something ive been pondering,,, should i use long containers,," coffee cans....2L milk jugs,," or should i focus on width ..? in my case long is better i can cram more containers in a small area,, whats your take on this

i was thinking that ,,the local garden shop always sold there plants in 2-3 inch deep by 5x7 flats,,they got there plants from the howard dill family i am quite sure
