What’s the correct procedure for starting with a seed stored at –20°C? I’ll soak directly in water at 28-30°C or (for ex.) I’ll transfer gradually, one day at 4°C, the day after at room temperature and after at 28-30°C?

Wow. I have never stored seed that cold before. But would venture your process sounds very good.

Paolo, I guess that in completely dry seeds the temperature doesn’t matter much, so you could start them immediately. However, if not in a hurry I would follow your considerations.
