Cedars are swollen, grass is greening and amphibians are on the move with the rains. Spring is very near.   Thursday, March 27 View Page This is my first year since 2018 that I am growing with amendments, laying out and burying vines etc. Past few years I just planted and let everything grow in a huge mess (mostly field Pumpkins). Kids are getting older and time is opening up after a 7 yr layoff. We lost a few huge Shingle Oaks, and I should get more light than the 2pm cutoff I fought years ago. Redbuds watching the progress and Spring Peepers calling in the background.   Wednesday, April 9 View Page Back in the depths of a storage room are the newly germinated plants from this morning. Will have them in the patch mid to late next week.
