We lost the fruit on my 1953 Daletas. It had gotten up to an estimated weight of 311# when it stopped growing. There had been a small area of rot on the main vine distal to the fruit. I amputated the distal main vine & I thought it looked clean. I sprayed the stump with rubbing alcohol, dusted it with S powder, put a fan on it & forgot about it. When I cut the stem on this pumpkin there was rot in the interior which obviously went into the fruit. So now I’m trying to get a female to pollinate for a porch punkin.
