Spent the morning spreading coffee grounds. Prepped holes for tomatoes this evening.
I spread probably 100 lbs of coffee grounds over 3000 square feet or so. I think they are toxic in large quantities but if theyre spread thinly and mixed with other organics, especially "browns"/low nitrogen carbon, I think they will help. I think for some reason alliums might like them more than other plants do.
I dont know if I prepped the spots for the tomatoes as well as Dan S. but I hope I am getting closer to his level. I threw a lot of stuff at them. I can learn from the mistakes and try again next year...
