It is just fun to 'turn the tables', lol.
Please note that the bottom-most seedling is starting to eject from the seed 'casing' due to actual leaf growth.
I had not kept track of what the LATERAL roots are up to with this disorientation of the rest. Hmmm...
I suspect that this might be a way to see which seed is the most vigorous before committing any to placement in the patch, like if a child speaks sooner than normal.
