Testing the new germination box. The box is 48"L x 21"H x 12"D. It is completely lined with 1/2" foil-faced foam insulation. The heat source is 3-40 watt bulbs under a hardware cloth shelf. The heat is deflected just above the bulbs to help with better convection inside. Lights are controlled by a 110v chicken coop thermostat by Honeywell. It has a little more temperature swing than I really would like but it stays pretty close to a constant 85 degrees.
