This is a used up male from the mutant double-wide/flat- vined 594 Smith; sorry the picture doesn't show more but I tore it off pretty high on its stem & used it to pollinate an early female on the 1062 Rivard about 4 hours earlier, then stepped on it later in the day. The unusual thing here is that instead of the normal spikes at the base of the flower cone, this plant had leaves attached to the males.
