This photo showes Mr Critchfield (82 yr old, 2nd from left) detailing to my wife the proper methode of covering males, and females with cheese cloth to prevent "contamination of the pollination". The plant is his personal favorite and he asked me not to "share" with the world it's parents. Hint, It is a 1000# something Mombert :] Robert is a "Super Grower" he makes his living growing pumpkins and is a vast resource for info. I wish he had a computer!
