Here is my 14 year old Daughter and I with her 596# pumpkin. She won first place in the youth devision. It was a 1230 Daletas (f) X 644 Gadberry (M) cross. While I had to "teach" her a lot of "Tricks" she was a great student! She even learned the value of barn cleaning, a lot! This season she has decided on the 582 Hester (01) for her plant. I am currently teaching her how to run the tractor (God Help Us). I think she has the Pumpkin Fever now and has become VERY competitive!
