This pumpkin was grown on the 712 Kuhn 2000 and self-pollinated. I planned on culling in favor of a better fruit on the 712. On 8/5 I cut half-way through the stem and planned on finishing the job the next day. Before cutting it all the way off I noticed a crack starting in the stem of the other fruit. So I left this pumpkin on with half a stem. It grew over 100 more pounds before I picked it and took it to a local fair. I finished in second with it.
