After reading and viewing the carnage done to the pumpkins grown by fellow grower Rocky Rockwell in recent days. ..it reminded me of what happened to a pumpkin I donated for a front porch exhibit. Vandals rolled this 600 pounder off the front porch but couldn't do more than roll it off and ran while the owner chased and his wife called 911. The culprits were not caught and the pumpkin remained in fair condition with a split underside from the fall, it made it through Halloween with out being carved. He displayed it at his annual party as picture shows and made front page of his local paper.
