This is a cross section of my 503Beauchemin (Knauss remake) that I planted this summer. The plant was only 200 square feet in size.(test patch) This pumpkin was about beach ball size and the shell exploded on me (spider web like cracks). It's inside was outgrowing it's shell. As you can see it had no cavity, and was solid meat. The seeds were inbedded in the meat of the pumpkin. I can only wonder what might of happened if it would of made it? Does the 503 have the potential of the 898?
