Picture of some Giant Amaranth (Amaranthus Australis) in my backyard. The tallest plants are approximately 11 ft. tall. My friend from Poughkeepsie, Jesse, started some of these in pots during the winter, and I transplanted them into the garden in early spring. Some of the plants in the picture are clonal cuttings I took in the spring from the plants he gave me. I just hope they don't flower anytime soon, and I can get them over the current ~~15 ft. world record.
