Last year I planted some purple majesty pearl millet under my tall 12 ft. white pearl millet. I saved the seeds to the purple majesty millet and planted it at my wife's brother's house. Most of the plants grew about 5 to 6 feet, but there is one that grew nearly 10 feet tall. I've never seen purple majesty grow this tall. It may have crossed with the 12 ft. tall white pearl millet. The head has not produced seed yet; so I hope to save seeds from this and try to reproduce the results next year. I'd love to see a purple 10 ft. or taller millet.
