Nathan Okorn grafted the plant which grew the 350.5 Kent. So of course he was compelled to make the long drive from Bat Cave, North Carolina to Hamilton Ohio on October 5th, 2013. Nate was pretty amazed at the size of this giant melon and requested that I take this picture of him lying down beside it.After I saw the picture I wished I had my own picture taken beside this behemoth.It was a day I will never forget.
