so whats a 654 Troy 01 trading for these days... we grew our 758.5 02 with it.

C&R, just curious. What did your pumpkin look like? The troy was open pollinated I think.

Large in diameter along the verticle axis, short in length from stem to blossem. It grew stem down. decent orange color. not as orange as the parent was. there is a picture of it on the aggc site. I have digital photos someware on my other computer. plant was around 450 sqft. we also had "the runt" on a secondary vine, it was around 350 lb. and had better color. plant was grown under 30% shade cloth with overhead misting. summer temps here can hit 100-105f routinely here. plant was very heat tolerant. the offspring of the 758.5 Kolb 02 was a 674.5 lb seafoam green squash in 03.... got some sort of hybrid vigor deal from the 594 Smith 01 we crossed it with.

oh one other thing , the 758.5 was like 12-15% light. was taping like 880.
