Hello to all: I am Spanish and very I am interested in obtaining seeds of giant pumpkins. I think that it must be very interesting to cultivate these wonderful vegetables... I have a field near the Mediterranean Sea in the city of Alicante and am a lover of agriculture like hobby. It would be thankful if seeds can send me. Thank you very much. I also have seeds of several things (tomatos, peppers, phisalys, flowers, trees, pumpkins of several classes, etc) and if they love I them envio. Thanks for your attention and time. Thanks to all for your commentaries. I am going to try to answer all... If I know Carlos... but as it says to Pumkinpal.2 queria to have some seeds of other places (paises or states.). The single last year I could arrive at 98 kg Tenendiendo in account that does not use special hormones nor installments. Since I do not know the names... formulas and as I must plant them, Water. installments... earth, taken care of etc. My single field has 1000 square meters but full it of plants and I enjoy seeing as they grow. I do know Jose Luis; he is a enthusiastic gentleman who lives in a wonderful area. The bad think I found in his place for our hobby is the summer nights temperature. Too high and maybe too wet to get a nice cooling effect with watering. But I am pretty sure that his PB will rise a lot this year.
Another nice guy in Spain I gave seeds and advices to is Salvador from Barcelona, he got last year more than 200 Kg. He lives in the border of the provinces of Barcelona and Gerona, not far from the Pirinees Mountains and has a good climate for pumpkins. A contest is celebrated in his village every year, and now they are begining to rise their fruit weights as well.
It will be glad to me that my European Record be broken in my own country. (I will try, of course. LOL)
