Kyle, if you can't find a 1097.5 you might consider a Beachy Cross #3, which is the same cross. I grew both a 1097.5 last year and a Beachy Cross #3 and did better with the Beachy cross #3...same treatment, same patch. I liked the Beachy Cross plant better and the fruit was more 935 Lloyd-like (it looked like a giant cantelope) than the whiter 1097.5 fruit. Given the choice, I'd grow the Beachy Cross #3 over the 1097.5 Beachy...and Tom still has them to *give* out.
