I am interested in growing some of the pumpkins I have been reading about on your site. I live in Costa Rica and have a year round growing season. Does it matter when I plant? Does anyone have any seeds they could spare? I am only doing this for fun and know I have alot of learning to do before I might grow a "contender," so any seeds that you may have would be fine, and greatly appreciated. Plantlover

On the main page of this site is a link to "seeds". They are free for the price of postage and there are still many goods seeds left.

More than happy to give you some heat tolerant seeds, maybe some of the other growers may have them. I smell the new Costa Rican national record coming. David

Someone that may be of interest to contact would be Tim Caniff, the Florida state record holder. I bet he would suggest planting in January for you. Also, let us know some of the weather statistics for your area. Many times the high temps are not that high in costal areas. If you have sunny and 85-90 everyday, a midwest seed would do well. If not try to find some info from asking on here for info on what are some really heat tollerant plants. Tom Beachy
