This year i ordered seeds from a catalog and the plant has only grown about ten feet away from the main rooting and the pumpkin is VERY small. So i am hoping that by starting to try and get seeds early I might get some good seeds.

We are going to be offering free seeds through this website again this year. I hope to have seeds donated from top growers. We will also have seeds from John and my pumpkins. The seeds from my 600 pounder that split are drying as we speak.

I'll take some of those seeds Ken. Your 290 has given me a 465 and still growing. I got seeds from a seedhouse and they are 50 pounds at best. I imagine that would be very discourageing result to a pumpkin addict as bad as me. Then again the luck aspect is a major factor. The 290 set fruit at the end of july, and the 457 set fruit at the 4th. All of the fruit on the main vine of the 457 aborted until august and they are maybe 200 pounds. Still they will make a nice fall display at my restaurant. Right now I am making out my envelope to BP.com. I will send you the giant corn seeds for some 290, and then some of the seeds from the 600. Thanks for the great year. By the way the corn gets more ooo's and ahhhh's...it is crazy tall. 14 feet or better. Eric

Thanks Case! We are still working on the logistics for the 2000 seed distribution. I will post a message here when we have it worked out. We expect to be giving out TONS of seeds so we have to stream line the process. It can be a ton of work for us so we are trying to learn from last year.

Big-E, I'm glad to hear my seeds did well for you! I have been meaning to get you my bubble pack for the corn but I have been very busy with work. I still have a couple 290's if you want more.
