my 621 had white seeds (1101 northrup x self)1101 seed was white
615 white also (1101 x 1125 frantz) 1125 seed was white
390 est white (1125 x 1101)
385 est white (1125 x self)

Hey Dave, seeds from my 642 Reid 2005(1247 Handy x 695 Handy) that I slowly paddled around Lake of the Commons are nice and white. It would have made a better anchor at 25% heavy though...

this got me thinking-i grew 1125 it was white-pollinated with 869 -seeds are white-also grew 869-but pollinated with 723 and got tan seeds-i wonder if pollinator makes a difference-to white or tan seeds?

Hmmmm.... My 867 (217.5* crews x self) has white seeds. The 217.5* was a 522* Dill x 1373 Dueck-Papez. The 522* Dill is from the 616 corkum line and was a tan seed. The 1373 was a tan seed. Some where back in one of those lines was a white seed. The obvious question is has a whiteseed x whiteseed cross ever produced a tan seed. I think the answer should be no.

I got me some white ones off my 707-05

Another white seed ... and a pretty darn good seed count too

My 707-05 .... 833 Reid (801 Black x 1230 Daletas) x 819.5 Rivard (877 Klinbe x 846 Calai)

ps .. Despite the fact that it grew my biggest, I didn't do the 833 justice this year (mea culpea), but if I was to grow again I'd definitely plant it again and cross it with the 707.

White when dry?...Some of the few seeds I harvested this year...seemed tan when harvested and then were quite white when dry. Very few seeds harvested but both sets seemed the same...903 Ford X 1075 Daletas...and...1075 Daletas X open...both rather small fruit...approx 200#. Peace Wayne
