Just a reminder to anyone trading seeds with other growers in other countries. If you request seeds from another grower in another country you should send a couple dollars to cover postage instead of putting stamps on it. U.S. stamps are no good in Canada. The same goes for Canadian stamps in the U.S. I've received 5 bubble packs from U.S. growers with U.S. stamps on the return bubble pack. We can't send them back using your stamps. It's just a waste of your money. I will send out your bubble packs with my seeds in it, but in the future please just throw in a couple dollars for postage. It cost $1.80 Canadian to send a bubble pack back to the US. I'm not sure as to the cost to send it to Canada though. I usually just throw in $2 though. I hope I don't offend anyone with this email. It certainly isn't my intention to do so.
Thanks. Phil

wow, it cost me only .60 to mail envelope with bubble pack inside to Canada. Wonder why the diff, the exchange rate would only make it about .70-.75 cents.

Also, postage rates in the US and Canada are done by weight. Phil must be sending out alot of seeds per pack and that is why the rate is higher. At least that was the case when Phil sent me seeds - thanks!!

I don't know how they measure in the US, but when I take a bubble to the post office, they try to slide it through that little slot in a piece of plastic. If it fits, then it's the cheap rate. If it doesn't, then it's $1.80 It's supposed to fit easily, but there's a few people at the drug store who will wiggle mine through. That never happens at the union post office. Alan ps, if you work for Canada post, don't go snitching on them!
