I'm looking seeds from a 846 Calai x 723/845 cross and 846 x 898 Knauss. Also does anyone have seeds from a 705 Stelts selfed or sibbed. If so please e-mail me:

If you want to settle for the 898 being the female, I have seeds from my 1180 Daletas X self (1180 = 898 X 846). It was 427 pounds, and about 5% heavy.

Bart Toftness grew his 707 Toftness '01 (846 Calai x 723 Bobier) this year & crossed it with the 898 Knauss.

Thanks for all the replys so far guys. It looks like there have been a few 846 x 898 crosses made just not too many of them have been grown. I found 7 using the 846 as the female, of those 7, 3 were just done in the 2005 season. The other 4 are 977 Hester '03, 976 Daletas '03, 795.5 LaRue '03, 794 Ceja '04. Those 4 conmibed only have 3 known progeny that I found 795 Koch 2004, 528 Little 2004 on the Hester and 801 Checkon 2004 on the Daletas. Steve Daletas did this cross again this year, he must believe it has promise. He seems to be a fan of big-n-orange too.
