When you say blue you must mean bluish gray, correct? Rupp Seeds as a mix of C. maxima that potentially will through off something fairly big and blue. The New England strain of hubbard will grow to 40-50 lbs. under good growing conditions. Twilley Seed Company has a Blue Pumpkin called Jamboree Hybrid. It only grows to 10-15 lbs. The 1370 Rose x Blue Hubbard cross offers intrigue, don't know what you will get with that, it would be a real crap shoot but maybe something good would come out of it.
