How come no one wants to grow a 869.5 remake from one of the other growers. More of them available than there are of the 869.5s.

and before anyone says anything I have also been looking at the 869.5 and knowing I could never get one I have already have that cross on my list to plant. 808 Beachy, 884 Calai, 1105 Stucker, 659.5 Catapano, or a 560 Stucker are some of the remakes. I have the 1105, 808 and 884 so one of them will get planted by me just in case because I love the color shape and the fact that hopefully it will grow in our heat. One other thing,, BigWheels Goodluck, there are some still out there and I really hope you do find one to plant. Was just trying to be helpful about that same cross in other seeds.

I too have a few left from my 689.5 which was the 869.5 x self. It was bright orange and the offspring have been very orange too. There are plenty of pictures in my 2003 diary if you want to check it out.
