Looking for some giant pumpkin seeds...I am willing to pay a reasonable price....I need about 100 seeds....I am new at pumpkin growing and would like to start out with good seed stock thanks todd

Hi Well I have 3 aceres to plant on it is an old cattle yard that we have tilled up....full of manure that has not been used for 4 years....I have 5 kids and we were looking to have a contest ...which one of us could do the best...I do not know what kind of germination the seeds will have that I get but want do not want anybody to be dissapointed when they start there seeds. thanks

Todd, I think the most plants the 6 of you could keep up with is maybe 24, maybe less since you're new. Regardless of the land you have, they will be 400-500+ square feet; some people still grow them to 800-1000 square feet for each plant, and A LOT of constant work. Most people here are willing to give you the seeds for free just for the price of postage. Email me if you want, I can give you some. Good luck in 2006 -Jim
